Leader ki apni ek alag pehchan hoti hai. Leader banana har koi chahta hai but ye sab ke bas ki baat nhi. Leader banne ki apni qualities hoti hai, apna ek attractive personality hoti hai.Leader kaise bante hai? Such a simple question, or abhi tak business me sabse thinkers iski alag alag qualities batate hai. Leadership ke upper kai books me likha hai, but abhi bhi leadership ko define karne ke liye sochna padhta hai. Let’s start with what leadershipis not…..Leadership has nothing to do with seniority or one’s position in the hierarchy of a company.Ek company ke leadership organization me sabse senior executives ki referring karte hue baat karte hai. They are just that, senior executives. Jab aap ek certain pay grade tak reach kar jaate ho tableadership automatically nahi hoti. Hopefully you find it there, but there are noguarantees.Leadership has nothing to do with titles.Upper vale point ke similar hi hai ye point bhi, Just because aapke paas ek C-level katitle hai to, aap automatically ek leader nahi ban jaate hai. Hum mostly is fact par bal dete hai ki lead karne ke liye ek title ka hona jaroori nahi hai. Aap apne workplace, apne neighborhood ya apne family me ek leader ban sakte ho.Leadership has nothing to do with personal attributes.Jab people “leader” word kehta hai to uske mind me ekdomineering ( अत्याचारी ), take charge or charismatic (magnetic personality) individualki soch aati hai. People aise meicons of history ke bare me sochtehai like General Patton or President Lincoln. Butleadership isn’t an adjective. Hume kissi extroverted ya leadership practice karne keliye charismatic ki jaroort nahi hai. And those charisma ke sath automatically lead nahi ho sakta.Leadership isn’t management.This is the big one.Leadership or managementkoi synonymous nahi hai. Aapke paas downline or P&L responsibility me 20 log hai? If yes, then good for you, hopefully ki aapek good managerho. Good management is needed.Managers ko plan,measure, monitor, coordinate, solve, hire, fireand so many other things ki jaroort padti hai. Managers apna most of time cheezo ko managing karne me laga deta hai. So Gates ki definition lacks goals and vision jaisa hai.So guys what is leadership?DEFINITION: Leadership social influence ka ek process hai jisme dusro ke efforts komaximizes kiya jata hai for the achievement of a good and better results. Ab hum kuch or elements definition ki dekhte hai:*.Leadership stems from social influence, not authority or power.*.Leadership requires others, and that implies they don’t need to be “direct reports.”*.No mention of personality traits, attributes, or even a title; there are many styles, many paths to effective leadership.*.It includes a greater result, not influence with no intended outcome.Leadership action ek mindset hai. So iske liye titile ka wait na kare.
