Hello Friends,

My name is Anurag Awasthi, an URI alum, TEDx Speaker, and Founder & CEO of “Sankalp Save Indian Grain Foundation” (SIGO), a not-for-profit dedicated to reducing food-losses at market yards and warehouses in India.

SIGO has launched a crowd-funding campaign with Ketto.org to raise funds for constructing a prototype Grameen Kalyan Kendra/ Aggregate Food Hub along with a 5,000 MT flat-bottom farm bin.

Bad weather in southern Europe caused a brief shortage of veggies in the U.K. Prices went up and people panicked. Now they are thinking harder about where their food comes from.
