At Mangla Devi School Cantt. Lucknow, 70 students from Classes 6–10 explored how everyday choices shape our environment.

Through conversations on sustainability, the 4R concept, mindful consumption, and My Waste, My Responsibility, they discovered that every small action matters.

The moment that stayed with us? The surprise on their faces when they learnt how long different types of waste take to decompose.

Together, let's nurture a generation that doesn't just know better, they choose better too.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to engage with approximately 1,800 wonderful students over the three-day Sustainability Workshop. We were truly impressed by their curiosity, thoughtful questions and eagerness to learn about sustainability, waste management and the circular economy. Their enthusiasm gives us hope that the next generation is ready to lead positive change.

This parcel travelled all the way from Chitrakoot to our Plastic Waste Drop-off Centre in Lucknow sent by PriyankaVS

It wasn't a gift.
It was a reminder that ordinary people still care.

Someone took the time to clean, sort and pack their household plastic waste, and then courier it across cities simply because they didn't want it to end up in a landfill.

In times when there's so much happening around us, it's easy to wonder whether small actions still matter.

We believe they do.

If you'd like to donate your household plastic waste:

Option 1: - If your city has a genuine plastic recycler or collection centre, please support them. Local recycling is always the best option.

Option 2: - If you don't know of one, look for verified recycler near your city.

Option 3: - If you still don't have a recycling option, you can courier your clean, dry and sorted plastic waste to SparkLiv Foundation, and we'll ensure it is responsibly processed.

Because this isn't about sending plastic to SparkLiv.

It's about making sure plastic doesn't end up where it doesn't belong.

πŸ’š Stay tuned for our next reel, where we'll show you what happens to this parcel after it reaches us.

322 kg of LDPE plastic is on its way to a new life. ♻️

Every kilogram in this consignment was responsibly segregated by households and deposited at one of SparkLiv Foundation's 8 Plastic Waste Drop-off Centres.

322 kg of LDPE plastic has been dispatched yesterday to vardhman.industries , where it will be recycled and transformed into many products.

This is what a circular economy looks like:
🏠 Responsible citizens segregate waste.
πŸ“ Communities collect it.
πŸš› SparkLiv ensures it reaches the right recycler.
🏭 Vardhman Industries gives this material a second life.

Thank you to every household, volunteer, and collection centre that made this possible. Every bag of plastic dropped off is a step towards a cleaner and more resource-efficient future.

3 days. 5 workshops. 1,800+ students. One shared mission.

Over the last three days, SparkLiv had the privilege of engaging 1,800+ students from Grades 3 to 8 at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, LKO through interactive sustainability workshops.

The most exciting part?

Watching students discover that waste is not waste, it becomes a valuable resource when it is segregated properly. Seeing everyday plastic transformed into useful products made the idea of a circular economy real for them.

A heartfelt thank you to Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra for believing in our vision and making this initiative possible.

We also appreciate school's commitment to sustainability and community engagement, ensuring that students don't just learn about environmental responsibility but also put it into action.

This is just the beginning. Next stop: Plastic Collection Drive in campus.

When it rains, most of us see water flowing away. We saw an opportunity.

At the SparkLiv office, we built a low-cost rainwater harvesting system using existing pipes, an existing recharge pit, and in-house resources. No expensive infrastructure. No major construction.

βœ” Cost: β‚Ή8,000
βœ” Can help recharge upto 1500 litres of rainwater.

This project reminded us that sustainability doesn't always require a big budget. Sometimes, it simply requires looking at what we already have and using it better.

Imagine if every home, office, school, and apartment society harvested even a fraction of the rain that falls on its roof.

Every drop recharged today is water available tomorrow.

Thankyou Subhajit Mukherjee Foundation for inspiring us.

🌧️ Let's make every monsoon count.

"We'll use plastic bottles and give them to you for recycling later."

We hear this more often than you might think.
But here's the truth:

SparkLiv's mission is not to collect more plastic. It's to prevent unnecessary plastic from being used in the first place.

Recycling is important, but it should never become an excuse to generate more waste.

Before you recycle, ask yourself:
🚫 Can I Refuse it?
⬇️ Can I Reduce it?
πŸ”„ Can I Reuse it?

Only then should we think about Recycling.

For your next event, skip hundreds of single-use plastic water bottles. Choose water stations, dispensers, or refillable bottles instead.

The most sustainable plastic is the one that was never used.
