Mid of January is on its way of 2020. Temperature was ranges from 1.5 to 21.5 so life is too unpredictable. Sitting in the side of most of prominent hospitality academicians having experience of more than 35 years and recently joined teachers. A gap , a protocol or you can say it's regards too. Just enjoying their work. Best part of this that now we are having good percentage of female teachers. I am just recalling my older days, we were only few and maximum a count of 10( 1990) and now it's more than 70 in numbers. We were used to discuss the inputs of syllabus given by them in their institute, any new book on subject and changes of the hotel industry { city to city}, new chefs, new challenges, or any thing relevant to academics as well as to the industry. Things are changing promptly and people are not ready to even to share their expertise. We are becoming more consumer centric academicians now. Just say hello!!@ and keep quiet.
Long days to go.

Year is almost ending. Lot of professional learning in the year 2019. Few new facilities were developed and few are in pipelines. Read couple of books this year to understand life. Most surprising that all authors take you in a single direction of Love. Meet with couple of personalities too and have their positive vibes in me and will remain forever. With God grace , all events went well with lovely interaction with various experts. Nothing is to feel guilty in year 2019.
Visited religious places and explore Laddakh { Leh} too.
2020 will be like it's name and hope more fantastic and challenging too. I may have to visit few countries this year for few international assignments as well as VFRs.
Feeling more close to my students those are becoming good friends and helping to reduce the gap.

It's almost two months as time was flying in organising examination and could not spare time to talk to me even.
Just viewing a news of fire avcident in Surat and lost more than 20 children.
Enquiry will submit a report, action will be taken, compensation will be given by government but we will not change ourselves. We are not ready to accept our mistakes and always try to transfer the blames on others.
Our education never impart practical and situation handling skills on First aid , fire safety, security systems, bank transactions, disaster conditions, waste management, traffic rules and regulations and so on.
Just sitting in room and viewing news will not be solution aa we have to force various boards and councils of education system to induct all these.
Being a citizen of India our prime responsibility to endure that all institutions are having necessary no objection certificates, clearances and permits to operate smoothly, safe and secure.
My sincere condolences to all.

Just little ideas to share while making decisions about selection and procurement of kitchen equipments. Most of the time we rely on following points:
1.Price
2. Specifications
3. Functions
4. Vendors image
But forget to check
5. Reliability
6.Features
7.Serviceability
8.Appearance
9.Safety
10. Customer Service
11.Flecibility
12. Salvage value
There is a lot of confusion about SS Grade or SWG.
Check weight of the product and next time when you are going to buy ask for cost breakup too.
Nothing wrong if can ask to your vendor to ensurr AMC for minimum of three to five years and recommend to check AMC cost too.
Think about installation cost as well as training cost if it incurred.
All these will repay you in long run.
