We wish you a prosperous and happy Diwali!
It is definitely easy to burst a cracker, enjoy the visuals and sounds, and get back inside our houses. What isn’t easy is for the environment to handle what happens after that. The AQI in various cities of India has been reported to be upto 679, where roughly anything above 400 is considered to be severe and fatal. We are in 2022 and it does not take much to simply google up facts and take actions accordingly. Be responsible and celebrate responsibly! ✨

Nature does provide a free lunch but to those who are mindful of their appetites.
One cannot simply take from the environment and never give back to it. Let’s be aware of how we affect the environment around us and what we can do to prevent its damage as a result of our actions.
Happy Dussehra!✨

Green economy and sustainable development began as an idealized goal but have erupted to become an absolutely necessary part of our world economy. We hear it from the news and leaders- everybody wants to go green and become more energy efficient. In this day and age, one can even buy biodegradable shoes- although one wouldn’t really put them in one’s garden post-use, it definitely is a good way to put one’s best foot forward for the planet!
Wishing everyone a joyous new year and hoping 2021 brings with itself a wave of change!
Stay aware, stay safe.

Each year, 15th August reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. Let’s celebrate freedom today- Happy Independence Day! 🇮🇳

The environment we live in is like that selfless and considerate mother who gives all she can for as long as possible. We also know how extreme the consequences can be when the same mother gets exasperated! The period of lockdown, cyclones, earthquakes and locust attacks, that we’re now eventually coming out of, has hopefully taught us an immense number of things by taking away a hefty sum from humanity in terms of health, economy and lives.
Nature has its own ways of balancing things which may not always be favourable for us. It’s time that we start taking responsibility of our actions which are so long-lastingly damaging to the world we live in.
On this , take a moment to think of all the small and big ways in which you can do your bit. Let’s learn to appreciate every natural resource that we exploit and take a pledge to replenish it in any way that we can! 🌏

Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children's children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.
To waste, to destroy our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed. Sooner or later, we will have to recognise that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Earth, but the planet can live without humans.

This World Environment Day, let's take a pledge to work collectively towards conserving precious environment resources.

You can not protect the Environment unless you empower people, you inform them and you help them understand that these resources are their own and that they must protect them.
ETRC brings you a calender of some important days which we, as responsible citizens of the country, must be aware of, to celebrate our existence on the planet.
