There's a place for everything

That place isn't your chair ...

As per "Seiton" - a Japanese term I came across when studying lean manufacturing, there should be a place for everything and everything in its place.

While I left manufacturing and shifted to image, this concept appealed to me and till date love organising things in boxes, fixing places for things and applying the lean concept to my home and wardrobe.

Contrary to what you may believe, I tend to be quite disorganized, and this simple time tested concept helps me organise better.

Out of the F.O.G.

Do you take decisions and go out of the way to help or do things for people due to F.O.G. - FEAR/ OBLIGATION/ GUILT?

Chances are you have been narcissistically abused by someone close for several years. Narcissistic abuse is characterised by excessive control amongst other things. As adults one becomes a people pleaser finding it hard to put their needs before others and lack of boundaries. There are a lot of resources excellent books etc available on the net as well as audiobooks. It's possible to recover and get out of this situation and gain confidence and clarity in life but one must become aware and work in this direction. Awareness is the first step towards recovery. Some topics recommended to go through are :

1) Narcissistic personality disorder
2) Codependence
3) Narcissistic abuse

Holidays best spent for me are with a "Forest bath"... A fancy word for what I love doing since childhood. Spending time in nature trees birds and barefoot sitting on the grass , when time passes slowly and the wind just calms my soul. Enjoy spending few hours this way rather than anything else ... Grateful that I have a beautiful park full of old trees and beautiful landscapes right in the city where I can enjoy this experience when I feel like it.

Sometimes in life, one loses all hope, can't see any positive and no ray of light at the end of the tunnel. What can one do? Choose. Accept. Somethings in life are not problems to be solved but facts to be accepted. There's a difference between being hopeful and being delusional. So it's a better idea to accept those things and work around them solving the things that can be solved rather than continue grieving about something that cannot be changed. Grieve accept and make your choices for moving ahead.
