The revised edition of ISO 14001:2026 has been released. The standard includes some variations following the latest update in environmental management.

All organizations that subscribe to this standard are given liberty to align their operations with the standard requirements within 3 years.
However, auditors might start auditing you base on the revised standard before this 3 years to see your level of understanding and compliance. This audit might carry minor Non Conformities (NCs) report in other to strengthen the organisation adherence to the standard.

I will advise that organisations source for the materials to see the major changes and start implementing those changes as soon as possibl.
