Income Tax Return due date Extended from
31st October, 2024 to 15th November,2024
CBDT vide Circular No. 13/2024 dated 26th October 2024 extends the due date for furnishing ITRs u/s 139(1) for the AY 2024-25 in the case of assessees referred to in clause (a) of Explanation 2 to section 139(1) from 31st October 2024 to 15th November 2024. This applies to the Companies, person (other than a company) whose accounts are required to be audited under Income Tax Act or under any other law for the time being in force and partners of the firm whose accounts are required to be audited under Income Tax Act or under any other law for the time being in force.
