I don’t have a certificate in nutrition. My body is my best certificate. More than a certificate. It rewards in ways no certificate ever will.
You don’t have to eat protein only because the whole world is saying so. I do intuitive and experiential eating. If on one day I don’t feel like having the protein shake, I don’t. Nobody is going to die and nobody is going to kill me. The same applies to you. See what works for you on any given day. You don’t have to follow trends or fads or other people. Don’t listen to anybody but your own self.
Here is what I make every morning. Works very well in this heat. I’ve started making yogurt at home. Yogurt, not curd. Game-freaking-changer. More cooling and more protein. I go heart led, not by measurement. Of course, creatine — I stick to 3 to 5 grams on a given day.
I have personally seen that when I get enough protein - which is always a struggle, my body performs better. For some people, more protein works. For some people, less. Same about carbs. See what works for you. Give your body what it is asking for.
My Golden Protein Bowl :
• Homemade yogurt — live cultures, gut repair, natural protein
