We just wrapped up a two-day workshop focused on equipping our startups into business model development, validating product-market fit, and crafting compelling investor pitches. A huge thank you to Dr. Aparajita Prasad of Meta Consulting for sharing her expertise with our healthcare startups! The one-on-one sessions provided tailored guidance to each startup, helping them refine their unique value propositions.

We are happy to share that our CEO, Dr. Asim Syed Sheeraz, and Program Manager, Ms. Soumya Kar, were invited to inaugurate the Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Sharada Ayurveda College, Mangalore.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. M B Puranik, President of Tulunadu Education Trust, Mr. Sameer Puranik, Director of Sharada Group of Institutions, and Dr. Sandeep Bekal, Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate and contribute to the growth of Ayurvedic innovation.

After the inauguration, Dr. Asim conducted a session on Patents, Funding, and Commercialization of Ayurvedic Ideas, while Ms. Soumya led a session on Design Thinking: From Idea to Market for Ayurvedic Innovations. The event saw participation from over 150 undergraduates, postgraduates, and faculty members.

The discussions sparked great enthusiasm for future collaborations in advancing translational research and commercialization of Ayurvedic ideas, and we look forward to playing a key role in bringing these ideas to the forefront.

We were honoured to welcome Professor B. Ravi, Director of NITK Surathkal and founder of BETIC, to Yenepoya Technology Incubator on 4th September.

As the Chief Guest for the Teachers' Day celebration at Yenepoya Medical College, Prof. Ravi was highly impressed by our end-to-end support for startups and the close collaboration between clinicians and innovators.

His words of encouragement, especially praising our state-of-the-art prototyping facilities, have inspired us to continue pushing the boundaries of healthcare innovation.

We are excited to share the success of our recent Healthcare Hackathon!

The video highlights our engaging design thinking session, facility tour, clinicians from different departments presenting pertinent problem statements, team formation and brainstorming by the students, and the innovative idea pitches during the hackathon.

We were impressed by the creative solutions presented by all the teams. Each team showed great dedication in addressing clinical problem statement and offered multiple approaches to solve the problem in such a short interval.

We’re pleased to announce that the teams will continue refining their solutions with our support, developing prototypes, and applying for grants. This is just the beginning of turning these ideas into real-world applications!

A big thank you to our dedicated doctors, students, and all stakeholders for making this hackathon a success!

We are delighted to announce that Yenepoya Foundation for Technology Incubation has been selected as one of the SPARSH Centres by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)! Our focus will be on driving innovations in Public Health and Farm to Plate.
