I often get asked HOW I can take pictures of some of the most visited tourist destinations with no crowds in the background. I decided to write about some of the key tips I use to accomplish this. In short its about time, patience, creativity and maybe a little bit of photoshop.

I found this article really interesting. Jason and I have witnessed many of the "toys" of the children in Southeast Asia. Whether it be rolling a tire down a hill, or playing soccer with a crumpled up ball of trash, the kids are inventive, imaginative, and seem content with what little toys they have. It is such a stark contrast to the consumer driven culture we have in the US. Jason and I both are guilty of it as well, but seeing things like this on our travels is such a good reminder that sometimes less is more.

Holi was definitely a bucketlist item for us on our trip to India. It celebrates Krishna, the coming of spring, and forgives all for a fresh new start. It was certainly memorable and mostly a positive experience with a few not so nice moments. Either way, I've never seen so much color in my life!
