The Jewel of Panna!!!

In the past, Panna did not have tigers, and as a result, leopard sightings were unusually high. Yet, over the course of a decade, the situation has undergone a dramatic shift, with the emergence of a robust tiger population leading to a precipitous decline in leopard sightings. Our recent trip to Panna provided a unique opportunity to observe and capture images of this elusive creature in its natural, camouflaged state. Shambhu - The Handsome Hulk from Mohurli Buffer of

Rarely we get chance to see the Male Tiger walking without much disturbance from other vehicles i.e. no vehicle around. This was almost a kilometer head-on walk of this magnificent tiger giving amazing experience and opportunity to click various compositions & videos.

The Size that Matters...!!!

This is one of the most handsome male tiger from Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve- Chhota Dadhiyal.

Just to know his massive size, you can have a comparative look at forest tract width, gypsy & it's front wheels on the other side & the length of Chhota Dadhiyal while crossing the same track.

I was absolutely stunned with the size of this handsome hulk while crossing the track so upclose in early morning tender light.

The Speed...!!!

Waiting for this guy to cross the road, knowing the fact that it will rarely give any proper opportunity to click, I was ready.
Generally if wish to avoid the tourists while crossing the roads, Leopards normally used to shrink the body and crosses with utmost speed possible to them.
And he does the same anticipated movement and no mistake was done at all while clicking almost 10 images in a burst.
The extraordinary focussing and speed of Sony does it's job perfectly.

Night Safari Mania..!!!

Jungle is always full of surprises and you never know how & when you will be surprised by the jungle and it's denizens.

One such experience is this when, after the fantastic sighting of a young tigress close to Moharli Village, I wished to go back to the gate via Adegaon. Suddenly from nowhere this fellow crossed the road just in front of our vehicle and sat in bushes to provide us the ample opportunity to click in the night time....

Well.... It's an interesting story from here onwards full of surprise. So stay tuned for the next post...🙏🙏

Shambhu, the dominant male tiger from Moharli Buffer Zone of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve aka TATR, is among those handful of dominant males of TATR who are protecting their territory prominently.
