This is to inform you that CCA office has released new IVG guidelines 2.0 (The details are posted here on the CCA websitehttp://cca.gov.in/sites/files/pdf/guidelines/CCA-IVG.pdf )
There has been lot of changes and you would have to embrace for a newer reality, here are the changes which would affect your business (Important Points)
(a) CLASS – 2 will discontinue from 1st January, 2021 (as per present release) (This is huge and important for you)
(b) Government DSC would require a Video.
(c) There would no Traditional DSC (No Paper based DSC) from 1st Jan 2021.
(d) ALL DSC have to be downloaded within 30 Days after approval.
What will happen and what you should Do ?
(a) Please download all the DSC from the system, because all pending download would be rejected by the system automatically.
(b) All Class-2 DSC approved would be rejected as well (If not downloaded before 31st Dec, 2020), so please approve the same and get the same downloaded before 31st. December 2020.
(c) You should exhaust the stock which you have in the system.
(d) You should contact your clients and ask them to renew the certificates, because renewing the certificate with class-3 will be more expensive then class-2.
(e) WE would be sharing the conversion strategy on 20th of December, 2020, and Yes !! our strategy would ensure that there are no losers in the system.
(f) In our system, all Links which were generated for class-2 will expire, so you would have to recreate the same.
(g) All the conversion would happen automatically, and there would no manual work required at your end.
(h) If you have tender or Government Supply, please inform them that the supply would stop as there would be NO Class-2.
One of the Questions which has been asked what will happen to the Industry ? here are our thoughts for the same.
(a) The Industry will grow, because there would one type of DSC, so the message would go out clear.
(b) The Market will increase as the cost of Class-3 is more than class – 2, industry in terms of Rupee will increase.
(c) Class-3 prices would come down, that is for sure.
(d) YOUR PURCHASE Price will increase, so you would have to prepare yourself mentally.
(e) YOU would have to inform clients that the cost has increased and they should be ready to pay more.
