First of all, let me thank you for taking out your time visiting our our page and understand Virtual Business Associate concept which is explaied in detail as below.
As we all know, technology is moving at a fast pace and many of the traditional careers are becoming redundant. For e.g. -travel agents, cashiers, post offices, telephone operators etc. are no more in demand. In the current market situation, many positions in an organisation are also being restructured or being laid off mostly as a cost cutting measure or some times there is no need for a full time employee for that particular job.
This is a scary picture for the employee as well as organisations as though one employee is laid off, his core duties continue as the organisation is still running. These duties then are merged with the existing employee who gets burdened with dual responsibility. With the fear of being laid off, he goes on with it till the time he drains himself with the heavy workload and pressure from multiple sides compromising on his peace of mind, health and personal life.
At the same time, Management is not able to justify the hiring of additional person as the job role does not need a full time employee to be hired. Apart from this, there may be a seasonal requirement of manpower just for few days, weeks or months where organisation needs the support just for a particular project or activity. Or sometimes, they just need a person (specially for a start up or downsizing company) just for few hours in a day or few days in a week or month.
To overcome this challenge, we have come up with an innovative concept called “Virtual Business Associate”. This concept in literal meaning can be explained as below :
Virtual - not physically existing as such but made by software to appear to do so.
Business - commercial activity and
Associate - a partner or companion in business or at work.
So the Virtual Business Associate typically means a self employed person providing professional administrative, technical or social assistance to clients remotely from his/her home office.
