The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 claims to safeguard rights, yet continues to place identity under scrutiny, limit access to opportunities, and fall short on meaningful protection.

Inclusion cannot exist where recognition is conditional.

Justice cannot exist where protection is unequal.

Real change begins when policies are shaped with communities, not for them.
