MMS 12- Twelfth episode of our Monday Motivation Series with Diksha Jain Founder
6th Mar, 7 pm

Diksha was a marketer by profession and did MBA in the U.K after pursuing her Engg in Biotechnology.
She started this venture to bring out authentic chanderis, a pride to her family as their native is Chanderi.

Sometimes the hard part of solving a puzzle is to find the pieces missing from the box. Diksha's search for Chanderi in Bengaluru was like these missing pieces.

It ached her to know that though Chanderis were born in the heart of India, so many Indian women still have limited access to this fabric and cannot differentiate between a real and a fake one. Thus, in 2018 she decided to solve this beautiful six-yard puzzle by bringing together the missing pieces straight from Chanderi.

“Priyanka discovered her passion for fashion design at the age of 12 and pursued it through an Advance Diploma in Fashion Design from Raffles Millennium International and a degree in Fashion Design from NIFT, Hyderabad. During the pandemic, she decided to take a leap of faith and start her own sustainable fashion business. Despite limited resources and movement challenges, she attended online workshops and webinars and learned about entrepreneurship through the Women Startup Program by NSRCEL at IIMB. The business idea was incubated at FIELD, IIM Visakhapatnam, and she eventually launched Aasmaan, a brand that sources fabric directly from artisans and creates unique and high-quality pieces. Through her work, Priyanka has been recognized by UN Women, YLEAP, ACIR, and i2ELAB by Make Room India."

When you you start something it is not going to be easy and you might get lonely, but remember-
The best views come after the hardest climbs.

Let reels be reels don't mix them with real life.

MMS 09- Ninth episode of our Monday Motivation Series with Gauri Malik Founder .in
6th Feb, 7 pm

Gauri started her professional journey as an investment banker, social entrepreneurship excited her more. Intrigued by models of sustainable development and micro-financing during a 3-month stint in Peru, in 2012, she founded Skilled Samaritan (SSF) for the professional 'non-conformists', who wanted to use their skill sets to 'do good'.
She began her work in 2012 in an arcadian village in rural Haryana known as Sirohi and her initial projects focused on rural electrification in Northern India using solar power.
After observing and interacting with the members of the Sirohian community for almost half a decade, Gauri realized the opportunity gap in our rural communities where people have immense talent but lack the chance and skill to showcase it. Brand Sirohi now focuses its efforts on design and craft, to create an exclusive range of products that wouldn’t just be functional but would serve a purpose.
