What is a ? How can we it ??
According to Buddhist principles, the “monkey mind” is a term that refers to being unsettled, restless, or confused.
Jay Shetty in his book "Think like a Monk" has beautifully described the Monkey Mindset.
According to him the people with this often :
1. Complain, compare & criticize
2. Over think & procrastinate
3. Get easily distracted by small things
4. Look for short-term gratification
5. Are Demanding & entitled
6. Are Driven by fear & insecurity
7. Are Self-Centred & Obsessed
8. Seek pleasure & avoid pain
9. Believe in temporary fixes
10.Amplify Negativity & fears
Since our Mind can either elevate us or pull us down, it's important that we develop the right mindset.
Each of us have the ability to our Mind from Monkey Mindset to Monk Mindset by digging down to the root of what we want & creating actionable steps for growth.
