A legacy built on self reliance. Now powering a more sustainable future.
Swaraj Tractors and Mahindra Susten have commissioned a 42 MWp group captive solar project in Bathinda, Punjab, spread across 141 acres.
The project is expected to generate 61.54 million units of renewable electricity annually, meeting around 50% of Swaraj’s manufacturing electricity requirements and offsetting over 42,000 tonnes of CO₂ every year.
With more than 97% of its components sourced from India, this marks a significant step towards renewable energy, sustainable manufacturing and a more self reliant future.
