Tanvi Bhatia founded De’ Zaina in 2015 after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. Though young, Tanvi already holds two degrees as she continues on her path of turning dreams into reality one design at a time. In May of 2013, Tanvi graduated magna cm laude from the reputed School of Management at Boston University, with a Bachelors of Science in Bu

siness Management. After gaining work experience in international trading, Tanvi graduated from FIDM as an Interior Design Major, while interning with world-renowned designer, Timothy Corrigan. In September 2014, Tanvi graduated top of her class from FIDM with the President’s Honor Roll. During her time at FIDM, Tanvi was handpicked by FIDM’s Interior Design Department Chair and Faculty for a highly selective design showcase featuring the top ten interior design students at FIDM. Her designs for a chair, created and manufactured from scratch, featured on a runway show in Los Angeles in March 2015. Her academic achievements highlight her dedication to impeccable design and innovation. Tanvi also worked as an interior designer for a firm of high-end real estate developers that service some of Southern California’s most elite clientele. At DIJ Group, LLC., Tanvi had the opportunity to work on interior architecture design elements for properties in Beverly Hills, CA, while collaborating with another world-renowned designer, Thomas Schoos, and his team. While working on multi-million dollar estates and training directly under leading designers, Tanvi has continuously refined her design aesthetic and added to her versatile portfolio. Tanvi’s educational and work experiences complement her unique design sensibilities. Her traditional Indian heritage and modern American upbringing have given her a balanced sense of both traditionalism and modernism, creating an artfully blended design sensibility. Tanvi lives by one quote- “A diamond is a piece of coal that handled stress well.” The simple yet profound meaning of this quote drives her on a daily basis to produce exemplary pieces of art.
