Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd ‘Bajaj Sugar’ has the largest installed production capacity for sugar and ethanol in the country.

Our 14 sugar mills and 6 distilleries are all located in the state of Uttar Pradesh associated with 5 Lakh farmers, employing about 8,000 people. Bajaj Hindusthan Limited (BHL) was incorporated on 23rd November, 1931 under the name - The Hindusthan Sugar Mills Limited - on the initiative of Jamnalal Bajaj - a businessman, confidante, disciple and adopted son of Mahatma Gandhi. He sought Gandhiji's blessings in this new venture, which, apart from being a sound commercial proposition would also meet a national need. Till then, there were barely thirty sugar factories in the country.

🏸 A Winning Smash for Team Kundarki! 🏆

Kundarki Unit emerged as the champions of the East Zone Inter-Unit Badminton Tournament, bringing together teams from Kundarki, Utraula, Rudhauli and Pratappur for an exciting display of skill, sportsmanship and team spirit.

Adding to the celebrations, Mr. Atul Jha from Rudhauli Unit was recognised as the Best Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.

More than the wins, the tournament was a celebration of healthy competition and the spirit of coming together beyond the workplace.

Crushing Season 2026–27 | Preparations in Progress

As we gear up for the upcoming crushing season, preparations are underway across our plants and sugarcane fields.

From 31 August to 02 September 2026, MD Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma Ji visited the Budhana Unit, reviewing maintenance, equipment readiness, the steam-saving project and overall plant preparedness. Discussions with the Engineering, Production and Cane teams focused on key operational priorities.

At Bilai, intensive field inspections focused on red rot, root borer, Yellow Leaf Syndrome (YLS) and other diseases and pests, with farmers receiving technical guidance on crop management.

At the Kinauni Unit, operational preparations were reviewed with the Engineering, Production and Cane teams, with focus on autumn planting, cane plantation and cane availability.

Together, our teams are working towards a smooth, efficient and successful Crushing Season 2026–27.

The 94th Annual General Meeting of Bajaj Hindusthan Sugars Ltd. was successfully held on 27 August 2026 at the Gola Unit, Lakhimpur Kheri, bringing together the Company’s leadership, Directors, auditors and esteemed shareholders.

The meeting was chaired by Managing Director, Shri Ajay Sharma ji, and commenced with a welcome address by Company Secretary, Shri Kaushik Adhikari. Shri Ajay Sharma ji shared the message of Hon’ble Chairman, Shri K. N. Bajaj ji, reflecting on the Company’s rich legacy, present business scenario and roadmap for the future.

Key discussions focused on strengthening the Sugar Business, preparations for the upcoming crushing season, increasing cane availability and recovery, cost optimisation, operational efficiency and manpower restructuring. The CFO also shared insights into the Company’s financial performance and future financial roadmap.

With constructive participation from the shareholders, the AGM concluded on a positive and forward-looking note, reaffirming a shared commitment to sustainable growth and continued progress.
