CKP Sabha Dadar CKP Sabha Dadar The driving inspiration behind this institute was our Paramapujya Shree Ram Maruti Maharaj.

On the eve of Shree Ram Maruti Maharaj’s Punyatithi few stalwarts and luminaries from various fields gathered for his prayers and founded “Shree Ram Maruti Maharaj Smarak Mandal” on Sunday, 2nd October 1927. Subsequently, on Saturday, 2nd February 1929 it was resolved by the Members that rather than to have a Religious Vision, a Socio-Community Mission be adopted and from this broader and wider

view the Institution was named as ‘Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu Sabha Dadar- Mumbai.’ (CKP Sabha – Dadar). Late Shri Rajabhau Vaidya alias R K Vaidya, took over the initiative and managed to get the present plot of 954 sq. meters for the sum of Rs. 10,048.80 from Mumbai Nagar Palika. The original structure was completed during mid-1930’s and later the present renovated and extended structure was completed in 1960.
