For the first time, clean electricity capacity (338.74 GW) has surpassed fossil fuel capacity (301.95 GW).

That’s a 12× growth in clean energy capacity over 25 years — marking a major shift in India’s power landscape, driven by the rapid expansion of clean energy in recent years.

The shift is also reaching energy-intensive industries.
~2.5% of India’s total power consumption comes from the plastics processing industry.

Industry is willing to shift to 100% clean power using open access policy for cheaper power.

At our event, we were honoured to present tree-growing certificates to **Shri Rakesh Sachan, Minister of MSME, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General, CIPET, Aman Agrawal from Indian Industry Association, Director CII

Plastivision is supporting actual tree growth, offsetting part of the carbon footprint of our show.

Independence from foreign rulers is being celebrated since 80 years. And we have managed so well that India has overtaken UK in economy.

We must win independence from mindset that imported is better.

We must unitedly work together & win
Independence from imported consumer goods, as every time consumer chooses to buy Imported, India has to export jobs & forex.

As we are closer to overtake Japanese economy, must learn from Japanese citizens, who are willing to pay a premium to buy made in Japan.

As citizens of free and rising India, we must together raise the bar to make better quality in India & create Atmanirbhar Bharat.

PLASTIVISION Industry Meet in Lucknow

The PLASTIVISION Industry Meet in Lucknow brought together industry leaders, entrepreneurs and policymakers for an engaging conversation on the future of India’s plastics industry.

We were honoured to welcome Shri Rakesh Sachan, Minister of MSME, Khadi, Village Industries, Sericulture & Textile, Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest.

Hon. Chairman Mr. Jayesh Rambhia delivered the Plastic Positive presentation, followed by the PLASTIVISION presentation outlining Vision 2047 for the Plastic Sector and its role in supporting Viksit Bharat.

The Hon. Minister appreciated the important role of plastics in improving healthcare and recognised it as a core sector that enables growth across the economy. He also assured his full support for the growth of the plastics industry in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Jayesh Rambhia also led the gathering in taking the Anti-Littering Pledge. Through PLASTIVISION, we aim to collect 2,50,000 pledges in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Our Guest of Honour, Mr. Vimal Shukla and Mr. J. P. Singh, played a valuable role in making the event a success.
