🚨 MYTH BUSTED: Does the e-Shram Card give you ₹3,000 every month?

Short answer: NO.

One of the biggest misconceptions about the e-Shram Card is that simply registering guarantees a monthly payment of ₹3,000. That's not true.

Here's the difference:

✅ e-Shram Card • A registration portal for unorganised workers. • It provides a Universal Account Number (UAN) and helps workers access welfare schemes. • It does not automatically pay ₹3,000 per month.

✅ ₹3,000 Monthly Pension This comes under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) scheme—a separate, voluntary pension scheme. Eligible workers contribute a small amount every month, the Government makes a matching contribution, and the pension becomes payable after the age of 60, subject to the scheme's conditions.

⚠️ Remember: Registration on the e-Shram portal is completely free. If anyone asks you to pay money to "get an e-Shram card" or promises a guaranteed ₹3,000 every month, be cautious.
