At Vishalion Vijay Casting Company, we specialize in casting for a wide range of productions, including films, OTT films, short films, web series, TV serials, and ad films. We believe in the true essence of casting, much like the process of shaping hot liquid metal into a precise object. We carefully mold and shape talent to fit the unique needs of every project, bringing your vision to life with unmatched expertise and dedication. Our journey in casting began humbly when our founder, Vishal Vijay, was just a 7th-grade student at St. Anthony's High School in Monte de Guirim, Guirim. Tasked with casting actors for a school drama, Vishal discovered his passion and knack for casting early on. This passion led him to assist in casting supporting actors for the English movie Grace, Guts, and Glory in 2004, based on the life of St. Francis Xavier, where he also played a role. Vishal's casting prowess was further showcased during the first International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in 2004, held at INOX, where he executed a last-minute casting for a short film in a 24-hour challenge competition. Set in Morjim village and Morjim Beach, Vishal successfully cast a foreign actor, who was crucial to the film Sandook: The Box, directed by Shri Mahesh Rane. His ability to convince the actor to perform without any payment exemplifies his dedication and resourcefulness. Throughout his career, Vishal has assisted local casting coordinators on numerous projects, including ad films, TV serials, and movies shot in Goa, both from Bollywood and the Goan film industry. A significant milestone in his career was recommending Devi Chandrashekhar for the lead role in Wizmit, released in December 2006. Vishal had recognized Devi's potential when she was a child and saw her as perfect for the role. This casting decision led to Devi winning the Best Actress award at the Goa State Film Awards in 2008, a proud achievement for Vishal. In 2005, Vishal moved to Mumbai and collaborated with other casting directors on various projects, including notable TV series like Kahani Hamaray Mahabharat Ki, Kaisi Laagi Lagan, and Kahan Hoo Main. His involvement in casting for Dinesh Bhonsle's documentary on over speeding and overloading in 2008 further solidified his reputation in the industry. Vishal Vijay's talent extends beyond casting, having directed a musical drama based on The Lion King in 2018 at St. Andrews ICSE, Vasco. After the lockdown, he has returned with renewed vigor, casting for numerous short films, web series, and feature films in both Mumbai and Goa. Founder: Vishal Vijay
