Since the first conference in 2012 in Mumbai which was India's largest, we have now grown to ambitions and projects larger than life, by organising the world's largest Model UN Conference as well as being the fir

st civil society in the world to carry out an MUN conference in the UN headquarters in New York. We are Indian at heart and international in our minds. We are the India's International Movement to Unite Nations.

We had the privilege of welcoming Shri Sadanand Date to our headquarters for a leadership session that left every person in the room deeply moved and inspired.

A 1990 batch IPS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, he currently serves as the Director General of Police, Maharashtra, the highest rank in the state police and has previously served as the Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). But long before the titles and the ranks, there was a moment that defined the man.

On the night of 26th November 2008, when terrorists unleashed chaos across Mumbai, he stood his ground at Cama & Albless Hospital, a hospital for women and children and fought back, even as he was wounded in the line of duty. His actions that night saved lives, and earned him the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry.

The session was an honest, wide-ranging, and deeply insightful conversation on leadership, service, and what it truly means to wear the uniform with integrity. He spoke about navigating some of the most complex and high-stakes situations in Indian law enforcement from counter-terrorism operations and organised crime to white-collar fraud and national security and how every challenge ultimately came down to clarity of purpose, discipline of mind, and unwavering commitment to one’s duty.

The wait is finally over.

Championship 2026 is officially happening and it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
Mark your calendars: August 6th to 9th, 2026. Four days that will challenge how you think, how you speak, and how you lead.

This isn’t just a competition. It’s a convergence. We’re bringing together the brightest young leaders, boldest thinkers, and most passionate change-makers from across the globe, united by one belief: that words have power, and the right voice at the right moment can move the world.

Over four extraordinary days, you’ll step onto a stage that has been built for exactly this, for debate that cuts to the heart of the issues that matter, for collaboration that bridges borders and backgrounds, and for inspiration that doesn’t fade when the lights go down.
You’ll be challenged. You’ll be stretched. And you’ll leave knowing you gave everything you had.

This is your moment to show up, fully, unapologetically, with everything you’ve got. To speak up clearly, courageously, with conviction. And to stand out not just as a competitor, but as a voice that the world needs to hear.

The countdown has begun. Register now through the link in bio!

As part of I.I.M.U.N.’s Alumni Series, members of our ever-growing family return to share their stories, the experiences that shaped them, and the ways this movement continues to influence their journeys.
30,000+ volunteers. 275 cities. 40 countries. One family. 💙

In last week’s session, we had the pleasure of welcoming back

It all began in 2017, when Niraj joined I.I.M.U.N. as part of the International Department. Over the years, he rose to serve as the Senior Director of the International Department, working closely with students, schools, and young leaders from across India and around the world. During his time with the organisation, Niraj played a role in bringing some of I.I.M.U.N.’s international conferences to life, in Turkey, Colombia, and Mexico. He travelled extensively across Nepal, Bangladesh, and cities including Vellore, Tirupur, and Coimbatore for conferences, orientations, and student outreach. One experience that remains especially close to his heart was leading one of I.I.M.U.N.’s first experiential learning trips to Singapore, where Indian students travelled internationally to be part of a truly global conference experience. For Niraj, the heart of the journey was always the people, curious students, dedicated teams working through long days and late nights, and the friendships forged while building something meaningful together. Alongside his journey with I.I.M.U.N., Niraj built a strong career in financial services. An MBA graduate from Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, he has worked with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and currently serves as Territory Manager for North Mumbai at HDFC Life. Through every chapter, one thing has remained unchanged his genuine love for people, for building teams, and for creating opportunities that help young individuals grow, lead, and step boldly beyond their comfort zones.

Menstrual health is not a women’s issue, it’s a human rights issue.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, over 500 I.I.M.U.N. volunteers across 50+ cities came together with one shared purpose: to challenge the silence, break the stigma, and bridge the access gap surrounding menstrual hygiene.

In collaboration with grassroots NGOs, our volunteers led sensitization drives, interactive workshops with on-ground gynaecologists, and far-reaching awareness campaigns going beyond the distribution of free sanitary products by to over 1,500 underprivileged women and girls, and sparking meaningful conversations around dignity, health, and equality.

For many of the women we met, this was their first time receiving menstrual products. More importantly, it was their first time being heard. We believe that no girl should miss school because of her period. No woman should compromise her health out of necessity. And no individual should carry shame for a biological process that is nothing short of natural.
Because true progress isn’t measured in numbers or policies alone it lives in the dignity we restore, the barriers we dismantle, and the conversations we finally dare to normalize.

This is youth-led change. This is I.I.M.U.N.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we revisit the words of 50th Chief Justice of India, DY. Chandrachud ( ) who reminded us that menstruation is a normal biological process and that women deserve access to proper facilities, dignity, and care.

Season 04 of I.I.M.U.N.‘s Recipes for Success continues, and our next guest is someone who proves that the most extraordinary journeys often begin at a grandmother’s kitchen counter.

Chef Surabhi Suri ( ) is a self-taught plant-based chef based in Dubai, the founder of supper club Sebzee, and the face behind the beloved Instagram community . Her grandmother was her first teacher. So today, she paints on plates. She recently made history at the World Food Championships 2026 in the USA, being crowned World Vegetarian Champion and finishing as first runner-up overall, competing in non-vegetarian rounds as a lifelong vegetarian and winning anyway. For Chef Surabhi, food has always been more than technique. It is culture, identity, and a quiet tribute to every place and person that shaped her.

Because the most powerful stories are told not just in words, but in every plate that carries a piece of where you come from.

Looking strong is easy. Being strong is hard.

Sushmita Sen reveals what most people never admit. Thinness is achievable in weeks, but fitness needs discipline, courage, and a mind that refuses to collapse. Real fitness is balance. Body. Mind. Soul. And the strength to rise when life puts weight on you.

Watch Sushmita Sen explain why true fitness starts in the mind. Not the mirror. And why one moment of hanging on gymnastic rings taught her that if she can defy gravity at fifty, she can defy anything.

Virality fades. Inspiration stays.

In a world built on scrolling, trends and thirty-second validation, true role models are rare. They are not people you simply watch. They are people who shape the way you think, dream and grow. Their journeys stay with you long after the screen goes dark.

On his birthday, watch Karan Johar reflect on the difference between reel models and real role models, and why consistency, longevity and emotional impact matter far more than fleeting internet fame.

Happy Birthday to someone whose journey continues to inspire generations beyond the algorithm Karan Johar

Deep in the heart of Central Asia, where ancient Silk Road cities rise from the desert and the air carries the weight of civilizations, that’s where we found ourselves.

No grand gestures. No borrowed glory. Just the quiet dignity of a land that has always known who it is. Uzbekistan doesn’t announce itself. It doesn’t need to. Its people carry centuries of resilience in their bones, and its students carry that same quiet fire into every room they walk into.

The committees were alive with it. Arguments that cut clean. Positions held with grace. Moments where you forgot these were young delegates because conviction that honest doesn’t come with age, it comes with intention.

There’s something about this place that stays with you. Maybe it’s the warmth that feels ancient, or the ambition that feels inevitable. Maybe it’s the minarets that have watched empires rise and fall, still standing, unbothered. Maybe it’s all of it.

showed up. Fully, beautifully, unapologetically.

Until next time ❤️
