ives since our formation in 1996. Streit Group entered the market of armored cars in 1996 by producing vehicles for the cash-in-transit industry. By the late 1990’s our client base had expanded to include government agencies and organizations (civil, law enforcement, military), private security companies and protection for individuals. All of these markets expressed a growing need for specialized armored vehicles. To answer the growing demand for armored vehicles Streit Group increased its manufacturing capability by increasing the production floor area from 2,000 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft allowing us to produce 40 vehicles a month. In 2005 two production facilities were opened in the Middle East. The production facilities in Dubai and
Ras Al Khaimah are strategically located and allow the quick deployment of armored vehicles to countries that are in high demand for these products. Sales and Support offices have been opened in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon and allow us to focus on a quick and uninterrupted flow of products and materials. With the addition of these 2 facilities, we increased our production area to over 100,000 sq ft and production capacity to 160 vehicles per month. In July 2008 Streit Group opened a manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina (USA) to provide additional resources to meet an ever-growing demand. In August 2009 Streit Group started production in Russia. We are producing various multi-purpose armored vehicles using the latest manufacturing, machinery and advanced technologies. As we look to the future and further expansion we stand proud of our accomplishments. We have the capability to customize and adapt to the ever- changing need for multi-purpose armored vehicles by our clients. We remain highly focused on the needs of our clients and our goal is to always exceed their expectations, by producing the highest quality armored vehicles from luxury cars to heavy-duty trucks.
