Multiple offer challenge
In recent times the offer flirtation is a new challenge faced by the employers and consultants. The job market is thriving with multiple opportunities, which is a positive sign for the economy and a quest for the recruiter and employers to keep up with the aspiring candidates. Of late we are experiencing this issue with several candidates having multiple offers in hand.
Hiring process is backbone of an organization as they are an asset for them.
The time, effort and energy that goes into hiring the right person is a mammoth task for a consultant and an employer both. Exploring multiple opportunities and selecting one is a standard procedure for candidates, but not disclosing or declining the offer at the last stage or not joining the organization on the given date, leaves the consultant and the employer in complete mayhem.
What is the solution to this? Can we expect the candidates to be more transparent and value the role played by the consultant and the efforts and time spent by the employer who must start from the scratch each time this situation arises?
