As a small kid, I would always fight over not wanting to eat leftovers - a story for another time - with exceptions of some veggies used as filling in Toasties.
After the cauliflower ad roti, there was enough left over for just two toasties. So quickly made those and convinced K to toast them.
We had some batter from so N used it and added a but of our batter and souring agents to make Ananvil Idda aka white thin dhokla. A must with that is green lasun chutney. A simple but satisfying meal.
