Hornbill festival.
The festival of festivals

Every year during the month of December Naga hills lit up in an unforgettable moments of festivities.

A truly spectacle on earth when selected men from almost all naga tribes settled in a hillside near capital town Kohima. Each tribe set up their own 'morong' , cook traditional food ,wear colorful traditional attires , all they sing and dance for ten days.

There couldn't be any better time to know ,learn and understand naga people.
The Hornbill festival is a sheer opportunity for one who wants to taste and feel Nagaland from close.

Hornbill trip itenary:
Day 1 Dimapur , pick up and move towards capital town kohima. Settled in homestay.
Day 2 post breakfast move towards festival village. Enjoy the day there.

Day 3 Visit to Dzuluke and khonoma village.
Afternoon onwards visiting festival ground.

Day 4 Kohima sightseeing.

Day 5 transfer to Doyang valley, in wokha. Enjoy the fishing in doyang River valley .Night stay in tents.

Day 6 Back to Kohima

Day 7 Drop to Dimapur.
