In the Puranas, Vaastu is known as the son of Vishwakarma in human form. In a persons life, money which has been hard earned with honesty in accordance with the shastras, only such savings will last him for a long time to come.

In every period of time , money has been given its due and especially in today’s materialistic world, money means everything. In such a society where should one keep their money or jewellery in their houses according to vaastu? The scriptures say

1. In ordinary premises , cupboards made of iron or wood, money will keep coming and going. According to the science of Vaastu, cupboards or wardrobes or safes made in northern walls are best. One should be careful if using external stand alone cupboards should have a steady base and not be uneven.

2. In ones own house or building , money kept in the north, will increase. Money kept in south direction neither increases nor decreases. Infact, people who by thier nature’s are spendthrifts and find it difficult to save money should always keep money in the Southwest corner of the house.

3. Money kept in the western corner or direction has wings on it. It gets wasted on wrong investments. Only if it is used for lending and earning interest or salaries to be paid , then it may be kept in this direction or corner.

4. In any structure, if the northern wall is divided into 9 parts, each has its own diety and The 5th part belongs to Kuber. In such a place a safe should be installed and Kuber yantra should be kept. One must check that there is no kind of Dosha present in such a spot. Along with ur riches if a picture of a seated Ganesha in a red cloth is kept, it shall surely bring prosperity and joy.

5. Money kept in southeast direction will surely invite problems and mental disturbances and should be strictly avoided.
