"Mai nahi join karronga udhar jahaan HR khud hi stable nahi hai - waha aur koi kya hoga "! this is what one of my ex- colleague told me and this was my advise to him:
"If the HR team is jumping ship, the ship is already sinking or Sunk"
1. The HR Stability Check (The #1 Indicator)
The Logic: HR is the custodian of workplace culture. If HR teams leave frequently, leadership is impossible to work with and the culture is broken.
The Action: Check LinkedIn’s "People" tab for the company. If the HR managers have tenures of less than a year, treat it as a massive red flag.
2. The Direct LinkedIn Reach-Out
Ex-Employees: Message people who left 3–6 months ago. They have no incentive to lie and will give you the unvarnished truth.
Current Team Members: Ask neutral questions like: "How is the work-life balance?" or "How long has the current manager been leading the team?"
3. Managerial Longevity
High turnover in the specific team you are joining means a toxic boss. If the direct manager has been there for 3+ years, they likely know how to shield their team from corporate chaos.
