Position : Manager Projects & Engineering
Reporting to : Senior Management
Location : At Plant Location near Indore, MP
Approx. CTC : Commensurate with Industry norms (9 lakh max)
About the Organization -
We are India’s largest Organization in food sector and manufacture potato wafers and various types of ‘ready to eat’ snacks, namkeens. We have presently two nos. ‘State of Art’ technology Food Production Plants in Gujarat state and good market share in five states across India.
Organization is on the growth curve with multi locational presence, satisfying customer needs.
This is leadership role for a green field plant site at Indore, MP and thereafter to lead engineering for this largest plant.

The role has mandate completing latest ‘state of art’ technology based Food Manufacturing Plant within agreed scheduled time lines delivering intended quality infrastructure and machineries within sanctioned costs.
Accountability -
The Project Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of projects and services …
• Ensuring robust design of various electro mechanical utilities for related process & packaging lines and seamless co-ordination amongst all stake holders in project like engineering consultants, suppliers, site contractors.
• Guide engineering group in generating timely preliminary, detailed layouts, generating various General Assembly as well as fabrication drawings.
• Review various drawings, specifications, technical documents for completeness, correctness before Purchase Orders release.
• Ensuring timely compliance of every statutory matter for the project.
• MIS Reports to Management.
• Supporting the Senior Management fully with any related project relevant data.
Education &
Personal Qualities -
• Engineering Graduate, preferably from Electrical / Mechanical faculty.
• Have significant drive and be a self-starter in conceptualizing and defining processes/ technical inputs.
• High degree of attention to detailing and should be comfortable working with systems and procedures.
• Able to work under pressure managing multiple projects time lines.
• Should be excellent team member.
• Good Communications skills desired for due diligence with statutory offices/ internal & external team members on the project.
Skills & Attributes -
• Around 6-8 years’ experience in large scale projects / engineering roles with a good background in engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Should be conversant with project scheduling software like MS Projects.
• Experience with the food and beverage processing industry and, in particular, involvement with capital projects and/or plant engineering is highly desirable although not essential.
