On the occasion of Independence Day, our Chairman Balkrishan Goenka and Dipali Goenka, MD & CEO, Welspun Living, unveiled four new additions across Welspun city Anjar, from a Recruitment Centre at W Gate, creating new pathways to opportunity and a more accessible recruitment experience, to the Welhome Staff Colony at Krishna Block, offering comfortable living spaces for our people and their families.

The new Recycling Shed further strengthens our commitment to responsible waste management and sustainable practices, while the Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems at Welspun Home Solutions Limited drive greater automation, efficiency and smarter operations.

Together, these additions reflect our continued commitment to our people, progress, sustainability and innovation, building a stronger and future-ready Welspun.

On India’s 80th Independence Day, our Chairman, Balkrishan Goenka, reflected on India’s journey of transformation and Welspun’s own evolution, from a small spinning mill in 1985 to a global organisation present across 52 countries.

As India moves towards Viksit Bharat 2047, he called upon every Welspunite to contribute through our work, skills, innovation and productivity.

His message for the journey ahead was simple:

Learn. Embrace technology, AI and continuous learning.
Own. Take ownership of quality, cost and commitment.
Accelerate. Make faster decisions, execute with speed and dream bigger.

Our students of Welspun Vidya Mandir filled the air with patriotic melodies through Echoes of Patriotism, bringing an emotional dimension to the celebrations through the power of music.

The cultural performances further brought the richness and diversity of India to life from tribute to Motherland by the students of Welspun Vidya Mandir and Celebrating the Spirit of Incredible India by our Gayatri Niwas Girls Hostel female associates, to Saluting the Spirit of India by the pre-primary students of Welspun Vidya Mandir, Remembering the Past, Inspiring the Future by the students of G.D. Goenka Public School, and United by the Colours of the Tricolour by our Graduate Engineer Trainees.

Each performance was a unique expression of pride, unity and love for the nation, reflecting the many colours, stories and perspectives that make India extraordinary.
