With nearly three decades of experience across energy, infrastructure, industrials and real estate, Rajat brings deep expertise in strategic finance, capital markets, fund-raising, M&A and investor engagement. Throughout his career, he has led transformative financing and growth initiatives, partnering closely with boards, promoters and global investors to create long-term value.

In his role at Welspun World, Rajat will lead the Group's finance and strategy agenda, helping drive growth, strengthen financial stewardship and support the next phase of value creation across our businesses.

Design has always been at the centre of Sadanand Ambre’s work, but at Welspun, that focus expanded into something global. From understanding home furnishing design processes to leading export design initiatives, his journey has been shaped by constant learning and exposure to international markets.

Working closely with global customers, travelling to the US and other countries, and participating in trade fairs gave him a deeper understanding of evolving fashion trends and customer expectations. What stood out early on was Welspun’s strong emphasis on design development and innovation within the textile industry.
Being trusted with responsibility strengthened his decision-making and ownership in product development.

Welspun Foundation, under its WelShiksha initiative, has installed an Aquaguard Pro Chill Water Purifier at Kannamwar Nagar MNP School, Bhandup, under its “Water for Wellness” programme.

The initiative was inaugurated in the presence of representatives from Welspun Foundation, along with the school Principal, teachers, and students.
This initiative aims to provide access to safe drinking water while fostering a healthier and more supportive learning environment. Over 500 students and staff will benefit from this effort, with heartfelt appreciation expressed by both students and teachers.
