10 years. A lot can change in a decade.
For ZEUX, it meant going from two people with a belief in outcome-driven digital experiences to a design and innovation company working across industries, building intellectual property, mentoring designers, and solving increasingly complex problems.
But the journey was never just about the milestones. It was about the shifts in how we thought, what we built, the problems we chose to take on, and the belief that design can create outcomes far beyond the screen.
Here’s a look back at the moments that shaped the last 10 years of ZEUX.
Every journey starts with a belief.
In 2016, Saurabh Gupta and Hemal Gathani founded ZEUX in Mumbai with a clear proposition: to create exceptional digital experiences that produce measurable business outcomes. What started as an idea was built around the belief that design should create meaningful value, not just beautiful interfaces.
That belief became the foundation for everything ZEUX would go on to build.
A design company can do more than deliver projects.
By 2017, ZEUX was beginning to look beyond client projects and contribute to the larger UX ecosystem. Through teaching, startup mentoring and incubation outreach with organisations such as 91springboard and ATLAS ISDI, ZEUX started sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation of designers and entrepreneurs.
Recognition started putting ZEUX on the map.
In 2018, ZEUX began receiving recognition beyond the work it was doing for clients. Saurabh was named among the “50 Most Innovative Leaders” by the World Innovation Congress, while ZEUX was listed among SiliconIndia’s Top 5 UX/UI Designing Companies in India.
We started putting a point of view behind the work.
By 2019, ZEUX was becoming increasingly clear about what it believed UX should actually do. The idea of Outcome-Driven UX emerged as a differentiated point of view, built around the belief that UX should be a strategic business differentiator, not merely a design service.
That thinking also found its way into ZEUX’s publishing practice, with articles exploring subjects such as Snapchat, Netflix, accessibility, voice interfaces and behavioural design.
