Academic Qualification:
The candidates must have completed at least a degree in any discipline in a recognized University or its equivalent.

Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2021)
There are upper and lower age limit conditions to apply for the exam. They are,

Minimum Age – 20 years
Maximum age – 28 years
Age relaxation is also applicable to certain limits based on the category of the candidate.

Category Age Relaxation
Scheduled Caste (SC) / scheduled Tribe (ST) 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC) – Non-creamy layer 3 years
PWD (SC / ST) 15 years
PWD (OBC) 13 years
PWD (Gen / EWS) 10 years
Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled ExServicemen Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to
SC/ST) subject to a maximum age of 50 years
Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried 7 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 35 years for General/ EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)
