CRIUPA is looking for an Urban Planning intern/Urban Planner for the following research project at Nagpur
The study is guided and funded by CNRS, Paris and IIT Madras in association with CRIUPA, Nagpur.
The study focusses on how individuals groups in a non-metro Indian context Consolidate their claims to the land. In unpacking the research question, i.e., the processes by which individuals in a city claim land, it is important to have a situated understanding of the politics of land claims through a focus on the interaction of actors, spatial contexts (land systems), institutions and laws.
The duration of study shall be of 4 months, starting1st June 2021, Location: Nagpur.
Interns (research associate) shall be paid a stipend as per industry standards and shall receive a certificate of contribution on completion of the project.
