Income tax slab rates under new tax regime:

Upto 250000/- Nil
Upto 500000/- 5%
Upto 750000/- 10%
Upto 1000000/- 15%
Upto 1250000/- 20%
Upto 1500000/- 25%
Above 1500000/- 30%

Now, Tax exemption certificate may be applied online in official income tax portal. Tax exemption certificate is for schedule tribes only.

Arunachal people are exempted from Income tax under section 10(26). But still they must follow the laws of Income tax act 1961.
