Location - Rajasthan - Beri, Surajgarh, Sikar

Role: Collection Centre Executive

Reporting to – Cluster Head

The incumbent's role would be to manage the collection centre operations. This includes receipt of vegetables/produce from the contract farmers, cleaning and sorting / grading process and dispatching to customers. The incumbent will also be responsible for planning the day-to-day coordination with sales team, manpower planning and logistics, managing direct reports and review of daily metrics.

JD -

• Day-to-day management of the collection centre and distribution operations

• Planning of manpower & logistics for the dispatch of products from the farm.

• Compliance with respect to inventory reconciliation, stock planning and sanitation practices in the collection centre.

• Work in close coordination with planning team on specific issues that could impact the harvesting plan/sales.

• Drive improvement projects related to serviceability, traceability, quality improvement & process improvement.

• Grievance handling with respect to quality issues with contract farmers.

• Food safety and hygiene standards

Qualification Required:

• Graduate / Post-graduate in Agricultural Science.

• Experience of 2-3 years in running collection center/distribution centers/warehouse operations/contract farming.

• Industry experience: Agri business / Grocery / Fruits and Vegetables

• Knowledge of organic/regenerative / pesticide-free farming will be an added advantage.

• Good communication skills in English, Hindi

• Proficiency in computer skills – MS Office / ERP

Title: Cluster Head

The role of the incumbent will be to lead production & back end operations at the cluster and its partner farmer operations. The team at cluster will report to this position.

Total team strength: 10-12

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Head production & operations for the cluster.
•Responsible for production planning, logistics and customer delivery metrics in the cluster.
• Work very closely with the sales team to get the market forecast and plan production to provide continuous supply of SKUs as needed by the consumers
• Execute contracting farming activity with the network farmers, in compliance with company
• Mobilise and finalise suitable farmers, which are roped in by Contract farming staff, motivate, train & guide them for taking up regenerative organic production as per company protocols
• Monitor all farming activities to ensure that practices are followed and no chemical usage is carried out
• Manage activities of collection centre at each RAC– receiving vegetables from network farmers, sorting grading and storage.
• Ensure produce quality and work closely with operations teams to supply produce to the Collection centre / Distribution Centre
• Plan the RAC level input production as per the vegetable production plans
• Work with technical teams to execute practices as per the latest science in regenerative agriculture, as well as provide feedback from the field to the technical Centre of Excellence

Qualification / Skills Required:

• Post-graduation or graduation in Agriculture with 8-10 year of experience in working with farmers at the ground level.
• However, graduate/post graduate in any other discipline with relevant experience of around 10 + years in managing Regional level Agri / Fruits and Vegetables/ contract farming operations across leading organisations. Prior experience of organic / natural farming is preferred.
