This is to bring to your notice that CCA has issued enclosed Office Order mandating issuance of DSCs on tokens only for both Class 2 and Class 3 DSCs.
There will be no provision for issuance of DSCs on browsers or backing up DSCs as pfx files from 25th Nov 2013.

Request you all to keep tokens in stock. Incase not available, please place orders to our empaneled token vendors at the earliest. Please cascade this information to your RA Operators for smooth transition of this change.

Points to be noted:

1. The certificates which are already generated can be downloaded as per existing process.
2. The certificate requests which are already generated can be approved at any levels.
3. Generation of DSC requests on tokens is not supported on Firefox browser, as there is no provision to select Crypto Graphic Service Provider.
4. The CSP selected by the User will be displayed in the RA dashboard on clicking the request number while approval.
