Tomb of Waste aims to create a powerful and a poetic architectural installation that raises awareness about the impact of plastic waste on our planet Earth.

It's our time for us to take full responsibility of our sins before it's too late until a Purgatory on Earth has been created by us, as described by Dante in 'The Divine Comedy.'

Every year, we produce around 300 million tons of plastic waste. That's nearly equivalent to the weight of the entire Human population.

The Plastic Purgatorio, is a spatial experience to introspect our soul through a journey as a metaphor for the 7 circles of hell.

Modul-O is designed to be crafted outside and as per the requirement, it can be assembled in various combinations of the users needs. A simple Domino structure can be converted into a living habitat and save Time & Money on a major proportion. An axonometric view of our proposal to the right side of the image showcases the form, vertical circulation & in between open spaces.

Modul-O re-imagines student housing as an expression of freedom where the dwelling can be customized privacy and individuality. The basic idea is to use a cylinder as a pod defining a particular activity like a bedroom, study or living. Combining these pods together creates a dwelling unit.
