🚨 We’re Hiring | Senior Business Analyst – Business Finance Actuals (BFA)

Grade: GCB 4
Location: India

The BFA Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis, design and delivery stages for the end-to-end adoption of the Business Finance strategic solution for actuals.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing complex business requirements and solution design
• Supporting data requirements, sourcing, analysis and validation
• Ensuring General Ledger data sourcing integrity
• Supporting configuration across mapping tables, allocations and adjustments
• Managing risks and dependencies across platforms and value streams
• Supporting test preparation and ex*****on, including defect management
• Providing governance and oversight across the solution architecture lifecycle
• Leading cross-functional collaboration across onshore and offshore teams
• Supporting product backlog management and prioritisation

Functional knowledge includes:
• HSBC Finance and MI tooling, including BFA, FTP and TM1
• Business Finance reporting, MI and management accounting processes
• Business requirements and change impact analysis
• Data and systems impact analysis
• Software development lifecycles in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Business Finance systems and infrastructure

We’re Hiring | Business Analyst: FP&A – Global MI | GCB5

HSBC Finance Change Delivery is seeking an individual for the Business Analyst: FP&A – Global MI role.

The role supports Global MI Change projects for Finance, including change to TM1 systems that support critical business processes and MI reporting outcomes across HSBC’s Operating Segments, Corporate Centre, COO and CIO Functions.

Key responsibilities include:
• Gathering and documenting business and user requirements
• Conducting user requirements and process definition workshops
• Coordinating SIT and UAT
• Developing/coordinating Test Scripts, Test Plans and Test Strategy
• Monitoring and managing risks, issues and dependencies
• Supporting project plans, documentation and status reporting
• Supporting user training and communications
• Working with business stakeholders, Finance Systems and I

Essential requirements include:
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Data analysis and systems impact analysis
• Strong knowledge of management information and management/financial accounting processes
• Experience with core HSBC Finance tools such as TM1 and Saracen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to understand and work with digital technologies and tools, including Cloud, Python, BigQuery, SQL and Qlik/visualisation tools

Preferred qualifications/experience:
• Qualified accountant, project manager, business analyst or process improvement professional
• Knowledge and experience of Agile delivery methodology
• Knowledge of IT processes
• Strong presentation skills

Domain: Life Sciences

We are looking for a Medical Reviewer with an MBBS or equivalent qualification and 9 months to 4 years of experience.

Experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV) / Clinical Research (Drug Safety) is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:
• Medical review of clinical, solicited and spontaneous cases, including literature articles
• Medical assessment, including labeling and causality
• Review of adverse events, suspect drugs, concomitant medications, laboratory data and medical history
• Supporting Drug Safety teams with medical concepts and product-related topics
• Reviewing individual case safety reports and responding to related queries
• Generating and tracking medically relevant follow-up queries
• Providing product advice, particularly for SUSAR-related case reports
• Ensuring compliance with global and local procedures, SOPs and regulatory timelines

Skills required:
• Good medical knowledge and its application in drug safety
• Sound understanding of Drug Safety and Regulatory processes
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Computer literacy, including MS Office
• Aptitude for self-directed learning
