To our directors, Dr Navneet Anand and Jyotsna Sahay Anand, we wish you many more years of togetherness.

Happy 25th Anniversary sir & ma'am ❤️

No shortage of fertilizers in Haryana despite global headwinds, says DRS Vishnoi, Haryana State Marketing Manager of KRIBHCO.

Speaking at a media workshop organised by Fijeeha and NGO Action in Chandigarh, Vishnoi assured that adequate fertilizer stocks have been maintained across the state to meet farmers’ needs during the ongoing Kharif season.

As communication partner, GreyMatters applauded the efforts by KRIBHCO. Dr Navneet Anand said KRIBHCO continues to play a key role in seamless fertilizers supplies to our 'annadatas'.

FYIMP & FYUGP Issue | Registrar, Gauhati University, Prof. Utpal Sarma clarified:

1. No fee hike has been made in FYIMP programmes; in fact, fees for even and subsequent semesters were reduced by Rs 2,000 from the 2025–26 session onwards. Eligible BPL students will also receive fee waiver benefits.

2. The fee provision for the 4th year under FYUGP is a one-time permission fee in continuation of the existing regulatory framework and should not be misconstrued as an arbitrary increase. No additional affiliation fee has been imposed for the 4th year.

3. The revised affiliation and permission fee structure for affiliated colleges has been implemented after seven years, with only a modest revision based on recommendations of the University’s Finance Committee.

The University reiterated its commitment towards affordable, inclusive and quality higher education under .

The 'snake charmer' caricature of PM Narendra Modi in Norway's Aftenposten, and the Helle Lyng controversy defended under "press freedom," raise a pointed question: where does free expression end and culturally prejudiced stereotyping begin?

These aren't isolated incidents. They reflect a persistent pattern, outdated colonial-era narratives being used to frame a modern India that is today a major economic, technological and geopolitical force.

Press freedom is non-negotiable. But invoking it to justify reductive stereotypes doesn't defend journalism; it undermines it. Sharp criticism and lazy caricature are not the same thing.

More concerning is the broader pattern: anti-India narratives that, directly or indirectly, serve foreign interests invested in diminishing India's rise. These attacks target identity precisely when India is asserting itself most confidently on the world stage.

Media institutions and public figures must engage with nuance, context and cultural awareness, not reduce nations to cartoons.

At GreyMatters, we believe communication should elevate discourse. Global dialogue must be rooted in respect, responsibility and informed engagement.
