He is the Recipient of numerous awards and notes of appreciation from renowned personalities. He has been honoured with the Bharat Gaurav Award (1996), Bhaskar award (1997), Business Initiative Development Award (1998), The Gem of India Award (1998), National Excellency Award (1999), Health Excellence Award (2000) & The International Academician Fellowship Award (2002), Vedic Signature Award(2008) by Media Trust of India, & Social Responsibility Award (2013) by Bharat Nirman New Delhi. A biographical note on Prof. Puri was featured in India’s who’s who book (1978) and Prominent Personalities of India, (1979). Dr. Puri has been honoured for his lifetime achievement with the “The Millennium Award” and a gold medal at the Millennium World Congress 2000. He has also been honoured with prestigious other awards. Puri is The Author of more than 100 books and technical papers; some of his books have been released by President of India at Rashtrapati Bhawan, and also by other National & International VIP dignities.

Vastu shastra (vāstu śāstra) is a traditional Hindu system of architecture which literally translates to

"science of architecture."

These are texts found on the Indian subcontinent that describe principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement and spatial geometry.Vastu Shastras incorporate traditional Hindu and in some cases Buddhist beliefs.The designs are intended to integrate architecture with nature, the relative functions of various parts of the structure, and ancient beliefs utilizing geometric patterns (yantra), symmetry and directional alignment

Vastu Shastra are the textual part of Vastu Vidya, the latter being the broader knowledge about architecture and design theories from ancient India.Vastu Vidya knowledge is a collection of ideas and concepts, with or without the support of layout diagrams, that are not rigid. Rather, these ideas and concepts are models for the organization of space and form within a building or collection of buildings, based on their functions in relation to each other, their usage and to the overall fabric of the Vastu. Ancient Vastu Shastra principles include those for the design of Mandir (Hindu temples and the principles for the design and layout of houses, towns, cities, gardens, roads, water works, shops and other public areas.

आपके पास जो भी है, अगर आप उससे संतुष्ट हैं तो इसका सामान्य सा अर्थ यह है कि आप जीवन की बड़ी संभावनाओं से अवगत ही नहीं हैं। आप अभी जो हैं, अगर आप उसी से संतुष्ट हैं तो आपको यह पता ही नहीं है कि अगर आप कोशिश करेंगे तो आप क्या बन सकते हैं।आपने चाहे कितनी ही बड़ी कामयाबी क्यों न हासिल की हो, वो कामयाबी नहीं है। कामयाबी भी संतोष का ही दूसरा नाम है। जब आप कहते हैं कि मैं कामयाब हूं, तो इसका मतलब है कि आप ऐसी जगह पर पहुंच गए हैं जहां आप विश्राम कर सकते हैं, जहां आप सोचते हैं कि यह पर्याप्त है। पर्याप्त होने का भाव अच्छा नहीं, संतुष्टि अच्छी नहीं; कामयाबी की आपकी सीमित सोच भी अच्छी नहीं है। जब तक यह जीवन विकास की अपनी असीम अवस्था में नहीं खिल जाता- आपको संतोष नहीं करना चाहिए। तब तक आपको असंतोष की आग में जलते रहना चाहिए। सुनने में यह उन सभी परंपरागत शिक्षाओं के विपरीत लगता है, जो अब तक आपको सिखाया गया है। आपको हमेशा यह बताया गया कि कैसे संतुष्ट रहा जाए। एक तरह से देखा जाए तो संतोष लोगों को राजनीतिक संस्थाओं की ओर से सिखाया गया है, क्योंकि अगर लोग असंतुष्ट होंगे तो वे क्रांति की शुरुआत कर सकते हैं। आप जिसे संतोष कहते हैं, वह बस खुद का दमन है।दुर्बल जीवन कभी खिलेगा ही नहीं क्योंकि ऐसा जीवन आधा जीवन ही होता है, संपूर्ण नहीं। अगर आप खुद को जीवन का एक धधकता हुआ अंश बनाना चाहते हैं, तो इच्छा करनी होगी, इसके या उसके लिए नहीं, बस इच्छा करनी होगी, असीमित इच्छा। आपको सोचना होगा, जब तक इस जगत में मौजूद हर चीज को जान नहीं लूंगा, जब तक इस संसार की हर चीज को आत्मसात नहीं कर लूंगा, चैन से नहीं बैठूंगा

Today is Govardhan pooja. (Annakut)
Govardhan Puja was all about preserving ecology and respecting environment.
Lord Krishna the great believer in Karma convinced Gokul residents to worship Govardhan mountain which provided pastures to their cows, protected them, instead of worshipping lord Indra.
Krishna debated that Gokul residents were farmers and they should only do their duty.
He was of the opinion that one must do his duty and not worry about the consequences or expect something in return.
Krishna convinced people that Govardhan Mountain is their real friend, that the mountain is the reason for the fertility of their lands.
The mountain sends the signals to the air and indirectly interacts with the clouds to pour rain over Brindavan.
Govardhan parbat is loaded with medicinal plants/herbs which was helpful in curing diseases.
The magical herbs also purify the water when it reaches the Ground, add mineral to the water and air blowing over it.
The cattle were healthy and provided nutritious milk as they were fed with good healthy grass grown on Govardhan.
