Cultural Significance:
Deepawali/Diwali is one of the biggest Hindu festivals. It is the day on which Lord Rama returned to his kingdom after defeating the daemon king Ravana. Deepavali is celebrated for five days. The first day is Dhan Teras. The last day is Yama Dwitiya, which signifies the second day of the light half of Kartika. It is the festival of light and people pray for peace and prosperity.

Diya lighting, puja, home decoration, shopping, fireworks, fasting, gifts, feast and sweets.
