Position: Fundraising Manager
Nos: 2
Compensation: In line with compensation offered by known and credible Indian NGO’s. Rs. 40,000-70,000 per month.
Location: Mumbai and Delhi or Gurgaon (possible flexibility as long as coverage objectives are met)
Objective: To raise funds for long-term organizational sustainability.
Candidate requirements:
• High energy, goal-oriented self-starter, with excellent external communication, sales, marketing, presentation and closing skills.
• Capacity to build strong long-term customer relationships and present the Foundation’s work and unique capabilities with confidence, maturity and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with ability and confidence to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Identify high-value, prospective donors, initiate leads, calls and meetings, make presentations and close agreements to fund specific and general projects and initiatives of the Foundation.

 Compile and maintain a database of local donor organizations (Foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, private corporations offering grants/donations, HNI’s).

 Regularly monitor donor websites, engage them and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of the Foundation.

 Assist in writing project ideas and project proposals and ensure their timely submission.

 Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the Foundation.

 Undertake online research and build contacts with potential individual donors and raise funds for the activities of the Foundation.

 Build and maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the Foundation.

 Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the Foundation.

 Suggest innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.

 Develop annual fundraising budget and ensure achievement of targets agreed with senior management.
