Working around the trees in Mukteswar. The air is laden with mist. Clouds occupy the courtyard that frames the home. The plan opens to make room for the trees, the slope and even the sky.

The gamcha takes center stage at the Crafts Museum in Delhi. Its twists, turns, folds and weave unravel a garden of colour and playful delight. A three year project by the team at the Dastkari haat Samiti with a team of people enabling photography and gamcha has from all over the country. Casework by Bagchiji, Graphics by alpana khare and the folded artworks by Ankon Mitra enriched this collaborative experience in ways imagined and many beyond imagination!

Setting up the crafts pavilion At Yashobhoomi for Dastkari Haat Samiti as they connect crafts with elemental energy. Time is the recurring theme in this project for a pharma company near Chandigarh. Here space cedes to time as shadow lines become a measure. The design of the volumes are based on slices of the time continuum or ‘Kaal’ . Rhythmic and harmonic, ruthless and simple, time here leads the design story from structure to interior.
