A simple few things which differentiate you from
ordinary person to true professional in daily Office
course :- 1. Never Attach file with name Book 1, Scan001,
Rename proper name to it before sending. 2. In case of inter company correspondence, dont
send files with name addressee company name,
though in your system , it is saved with addressee
name. You should rename the file as "addressee
company-Addressor company -FILE specifications".
Eg. A tata employee while sending Balance reco to Reliance, shud not let the file name as Reliance,
though he may have saved the same as Reliance, He
should rename the same as "Tata-reliance Balance
reco". 3. Right use of BCC is well known, but notice the
diffrnce between BCC and later forward. BCC mails
may be shown to others as betrayal, forward mail
cant shown as betrayal. 4. When the use is restricted for any content, use "As
discussed" so that use may be restricted, and
handled without strong language. 5. In case of files with constant changes, advisable to
make a copy with date as name part. 6. Never say no to any work at the scene. Wait for the
time, and beleive me time always come, so does
solution. 7. Boss is always right... and hence you are always
left...accept it. 8. Never say bad about your company while / after
your tenure in employment.
It conveys to present employer that you are bad
chooser of employer. 9. The only catalyst for your success is Diplomacy.
Never forget that your company is not incorporated
for you..You are only a dispensable part of it.. 10. Work is worship..
