Season 4 of the RFYC Naupang League has come to a successful close, marking another step in a journey built around creating meaningful opportunities for young footballers across Mizoram.
The vision of the programme has always been to create a stronger, more structured football pathway for young players in Mizoram, giving them regular competition, better coaching exposure, and meaningful opportunities to learn, develop and progress through the game.
Season 4 brought together:
· 2,431 players
· 194 teams
· 2,718 matches
· 4 districts
· 4 age groups
· 1 lakh+ minutes of football
Beyond the matches, the programme also included 354 training sessions, coach education, coaching workshops and the Mumbai Experience Camp, helping strengthen the wider football ecosystem.
Mizoram is a state deeply rooted in football, where the game brings communities together through passion, unity and pride. It has been a privilege for World1 Sports to work alongside the Reliance Foundation Young Champs, Mizoram Football Association and the wider football community on this journey.
Season 4 is complete. The learnings, experiences and momentum now set the stage for what comes next.
