Some ways to overcome Perfectionism

Let go of the ‘All-or-Nothing Mindset’.
Learn to handle negative feedback.
Engage in positive self talk
Create an environment where you feel accepted
Not comparing yourself to others
Focus on the present without worrying too much about the past or future. Practice mindfulness.
Focus more on the process of moving toward a goal, rather than just focusing on the goal itself. Enjoy the process.

Ability to give feedback is a critical task for a manager.
Giving Feedback is a mechanism which enables human beings to develop, improve, grow and change.

People generally get feedback only 20% of the time (only when they do well or make a big error)
Good Feedback need to be
Specific
Selective addressing one or two key issues rather than too many at once
Non-Personal
Backed by Data
Descriptive non-judgmental, based on behavior not personality
Non prescriptive
Timely
Frequent
Constructive and Balanced
In an Appropriate setting and
Interactive

Before giving feedback, a manager must ask himself
What is my intention behind giving this person feedback?
How am I feeling about giving it?
How is the other person feeling?
Is it the right time?
Is he in the right frame of mind to accept it?

BOTH Giver and receiver SHOULD FEEL CALM

Similarly, while taking feedback, one needs to
Avoid emotional reactions
Assume that people are trying to help you.
Listen carefully
Do not get defensive
Take notes
Ask questions
Be open to new ideas and ways of doing things.

We all experience stress in our jobs, relationship and life in general. We can not change all our circumstances that cause stress, however we can become more aware of the indicators of stress and thus we can manage it through regulating our emotions.
It is very important to see things from someone else's perspective or have with others and their circumstances.
