Involuntary cost of quality is not proper for the organization .

If organization implement the system to give more and more focus for voluntary cost of quality ( Prevention cost and Appraisal cost) then it can reduce the involuntary cost of quality . Involuntary cost of quality mainly includes Internal Failure cost which increase the cost of production & reduce the profitability of the organization and External Failure cost which may be the reason of loss of the reputation of the organization . Under the voluntary cost of quality - Prevention cost is incurred before the production as implementation of preventive measure in the organization and appraisal cost is incurred during the production .

Voluntary cost of quality also known as cost of good quality , cost of conformance and cost of control .

Involuntary cost of quality also known as cost of poor quality, cost of nonconformance and cost of failure of control .

Popularity of odd number pricing is increasing .

Physiologically, ending price with a nine makes it appear disproportionately cheaper . For example , Rs. 9.99 seems considerably cheaper than Rs. 10.00
So , Whatever pricing technique ( Pe*******on pricing , Discount pricing , skimming pricing , premium pricing ,Cost plus pricing , Contribution based pricing , return based pricing , target pricing etc .) are selected it become a vital requirement for the manufacturers of products and service providers to modify the price by using odd number pricing .
